COVID-19 Policy – as of August 2021
The Portland Timberfish proudly represent the LGBTQ+ Community in sport. As a marginalized population who has stood up to epidemics throughout our history with strength and pride, we are proud to require our members to be vaccinated against the COVID-19 pandemic. Do your part, wear a mask, get the vax and swim as you are!
Swimmers must be able to:
- Provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination; please present your vaccination card (or photo of it) to the Timberfish Safety Coordinator
- Provide proof of medical exemption and negative covid test; please provide medical documentation of your vaccination ineligibility and proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours of each swim practice.
If you are unvaccinated or only partially vaccinated, we ask that you wait until you are fully vaccinated before attending practice. Visit Get Vaccinated Oregon to schedule your vaccine appointment.
