We are open to adult swimmers (18+ years old) of all levels regardless of sex, gender, race, etc. Come swim with us!

Here are good guidelines to determine if you’ll enjoy the workouts:

  • An eagerness to swim all four strokes/flipturns
  • Ability to swim about 200 yards uninterrupted
  • Stamina to swim for a full hour (short breaks included)
  • A basic knowledge of swim etiquette (see our Swim Etiquette page for resources)
  • No need to be fast or expert!

Complete these steps

Everyone must complete the following 4 steps before attending swim practice.

  1. Complete the MJCC Waiver
  2. Provide proof of registration with US Masters Swimming
  3. Purchase a swim pass using one of these links

Tuesday/Thursday Practice Details

  • Tuesday Swim (7-8pm)
    • Written by a volunteer team member and coached from the water (i.e. the person who writes the workout also swims the workout)
    • 4 Lanes
  • Thursday Swim (7-8pm)
    • Led by an on-deck coach
    • 4 Lanes
    • Team dinner after practice at a nearby restaurant
  • Practice Location
  • Cost
    • $10 per workout or $60 per month
  • Arrive on time, swims start on the hour
  • Locker rooms and all-user changing rooms are available
  • Towel service is for MJCC members only, bring a towel
  • Swim Accessories (pull buoy, kick board, paddles) available on deck for team use or bring your own
